UNICEF Charity Auction
A feature of the New Zealand Health Industry Awards and Benefit Gala Dinner 2008 was the UNICEF Charity Auction where top New Zealand artists donated art work to be auctioned along with companies who have donated a variety of other items. This is to support UNICEF’s work in Papua New Guinea for the women and children living with HIV and AIDS.
During the evening we raised just over $12,000 with the charity auction.
The artists’ carefully selected art pieces reflecting the struggles that these women face to raise their children in the island now known as the “Africa of the South Pacific.”
To bid on these art pieces you must be present on the evening or have a representative bid on your behalf.
